Almotamar.net - Families and relatives of victims of the bloody events occurred in the southern areas of Yemen during the previous totalitarian government have emphasized their sticking to blood of their sons shed during that period.

In a statement issued by them, almotamar.net obtained a copy of it, the victims families demanded the prosecution of those involved in the massacres committed against the sons of the southern and eastern areas of the homeland and the torture and ugliness of brutal killing. Some of those victims buried alive in addition to coercive missing.

The statement of the victims families has also denounced the so-called ' Reconciliation and Forgiveness Meeting'. The statement said this meeting was founded by the killers to avoid accountability and "we announce to the entire world he nullity of the so-called Meting of Reconciliation and Forgiveness with which they want to prepare for a new round of blood, the victim of which will be the sons of the south." They demanded the state and international and local organisations to work for revealing the fate of the missing since the beginning of the seventies up until the year 1986. They also demanded the punishment of those involved in killing those defenseless people since the seventies until the year 1987 and to form a court to prosecute Ali Salem al-Biedh and his accomplices for the genocide that claimed the lives of the sons of the south in general. They affirmed in their statement that the so-called the South Movement does not represent the sons of the south but a group of traitors living on bloodshed.

Families of the victims appealed for all tribes of the south to stand up to whoever wants to drive the sons of the south into a bloody war to facilitate for them taking power and finance via the se3cessionism or compromise the state at the expense of the sons of the southern provinces. They have also appealed to the tribes in the northern provinces for not revenging from any southern citizen in case any of their sons came under any harm by the so-called the group of the Movement.

The victims families in their statement have also appealed for the sons of the tribes of Yafie, Abyan, Shabwa, Al-Dhalie, Radafan and Lahj to not allow the group of the so-called movement to speak on their behalf and kill the innocent of the sons of the northern areas.
