Almotamar.net - Security sources have confirmed detaining persons involved in selling weapons and ammunition to suspects that frequented trade shops known for selling weapons in Sana'a and Thamar provinces. Meanwhile security authorities in the provinces nearby Saada have imposed a security cordon on the roads leading to Saada province, north of Yemen to prevent access of supplies, weapons and munitions to the gangs of rebellion and sedition.

Sours have revealed to almotamar.net the foiling of a number of attempts aimed to provide the gangs of rebellion with food supplied and weapons and tens of those involved in those operations were captured and investigations pint out that those involved persons had received huge funds in return for carrying out those operations.

Regarding the necessary needs of the inhabitants in those areas local sources mentioned that security authorities grant special permits for the passage of supplies materials transported by the local inhabitants there.

Official sources mentioned that 11 persons were arrested in provinces of Mareb and the capital secretariat during the past two days suspected to have connection with the rebellion sedition.

On the other hand the Yemeni Interior Ministry said it would not allow the death trade or its markets to appear again after closing down those shops in the past period , pointing out that that weapon dealers who ere caught last year are out under monitoring campaigns.

Security apparatuses had on the 8th of this month arrested red-handedly three weapon dealers in Baqum district, Saada province, in action of supplying terrorist and sabotage elements with weapons, ammunition and explosives.

The decision of imposing a security siege came following repetition of aborting smuggling of weapons and oil products to rebels across roads from Al-Jawf. A ranking security source in Al-Jawf province said last Monday that they daily foil ten to 20 trucks loaded with food stuffs or fodders to hide oil products or weapons to be smuggled to terrorist elements.

Military police patrol on the 6th of this month had caught 5 trucks carrying large quantities of explosives, fuel and gas cylinders bound for the terrorists in Saada province. The source clarified that the 5 trucks caught near Sana'a were carrying 350 sacks of gunpowder and quantities of medicines and drugs, as tablets, hidden under fruits and vegetables.
