Almotamar.net - Chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mujawar, the cabinet approved on Tuesday a proposal of the ministry of planning and international cooperation to allocate $ 40 million to build new vocational institutes.
Moreover, the cabinet approved another proposal presented by the ministry of public works and roads to transfer the funds of failed road projects to finance other projects.
On the other hand, the cabinet agreed on an evaluation report over the level of implementation of the cabinet's plan for period from January to July of current year.
The Cabinet approved a set of measures to better the environment of doing business in the country for period from October of 2009 to May of next year.
The measures approved after the cabinet listened to a report presented by the ministry of industry and trade over progress in environment of doing business the country within a 2010 report issued recently by the International Finance Corporation IFC of World Bank.
According to the IFC report, Yemen ranked 99 at world level with advanced four points compared to a report of last year.
Meanwhile, the cabinet also discussed a report presented by the ministry over monitoring on goods price for period from January to September of 2009.
The report showed that the ministry registered 6,299 breaches during the mentioned period across the country.
The report pointed out to the obstacles facing the process of monitoring the prices. The cabinet refereed the report to a ministerial committee headed by the deputy prime minister for internal affairs to discuss solutions suggested by the report to active process of monitoring.
