Almotamar.net - Foreign Ministers of the European Union (EU) member states have reiterated their adherence to supporting Yemen's security, stability and unity as well as backing up he Yemeni government efforts aimed at establishment of stability over its territories.

That stance they voiced in the second day of their meeting in Brussels where they confirmed the importance of Yemen's stability for the entire region.

The EU Foreign Ministers also expressed the EU preparedness to assist the Yemeni government in security area in its work against terror , especially that coming across borders in the manner that expose to danger stability and safety of the country and he region.

The ministers also affirmed their support for the political, electoral and economic reforms, necessary in Yemen, expressing their desire to see honest and transparent elections in Yemen in 2011.

The ministers emphasized that the EU thinks at present of the methods and measures that must be taken by it for the sake of increasing its various aid to Yemen, affirming their readiness to help the Yemeni government in encountering the future challenges.
