Almotamar Net - Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Prof. Ekmeledin Ihsanoglu arrived in Sanaa on Friday leading a political and humanitarian delegation of the OIC. The OIC delegation was received at Sanaa Airport by Yemens Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi.

Almotamar.net - Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Prof. Ekmeledin Ihsanoglu arrived in Sana'a on Friday leading a political and humanitarian delegation of the OIC. The OIC delegation was received at Sana'a Airport by Yemen's Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi.

In his statement the OIC Secretary General has emphasized the organization's keenness on that Yemen should have its effective role inside the organisation especially that it is one of the founding countries.

Mr Ihsanoglu indicated that the visit comes as part of the continuous contacts between the organisation and the Yemeni government, represented by the Foreign Ministry, explaining several aspects of his visit and his accompanying delegation to Yemen, among them is the renewal of the organization's supportive stance for the Yemeni soil unity.

He said," We want harmony to return to all the sons of Yemen homeland so that it could complete the process of the democratic operation and the economic and social growth. "

On efforts of the organization to help the displaced due to the rebellion sedition, Ihsanoglu mentioned the organization's endeavour to build a camp for providing shelter to the migrants to be discussed with the Yemeni government.

The OIC' humanitarian delegation would visit a number of the displaced camps to see there conditions and offer he humanitarian needs to them and to refer recommendations on that to the 57-member states of the organisation for mustering the efforts supporting the Yemeni government in helping the displaced and the affected because of the events of this sedition.
