Almotamar.net, Saba - Headed by Speaker of the parliament Yahya al-Ra'ai, the Parliament approved on Saturday the draft of the 2010 state budget presented by the cabinet.

The approval came after long- serious discussion by members of the parliament within a report presented by a special committee formed from the parliament to study the draft.

In the session, the deputy prime minister for economic affairs and minister of planning and international cooperation Abdul Kareem al-Arhabi announced obligation of the cabinet with recommendations of the parliament over the draft.
Government approves 2010 budget draft

On November, the cabinet approved the state budget draft at local and central levels and budgets drafts of economic and independent units and the private funds budgets for 2010 at sum of more than YR2.7 trillion, while the surplus of the productive public sector units' current activity for the same year has been estimated at over YR149.7 billion including YR89.7 billion which is the government's share from the total surplus.
