Almotamar.net - Head of the Political Office at the General People’s Congress (GPC), the member of preparatory committee for the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) Abdullah Ahmed Ghanim has affirmed continuation of preparation efforts for the NDC scheduled to be held by the end of this month.
He pointed out that the committee formed a number of sub-committees for al matters related to the task of the dialogue such as the political committee or the administrative or financial or security.
Mr Ghanim indicated that these sub-committees were still working under supervision of the preparatory committee in order to complete their duties before the convention of the conference on 30 January 2010.
Mr Ghanim said the preparatory committee is scheduled to present many working papers relating to all the national, political and social topics which will be discussed by the dialogue during its 4-day convention.
He has also affirmed that dialogue is open to all who stick to the national constants and ceiling of the constitution and the law.
On participation of the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) as well as elements of the rebellion in the national conference, Ghanim indicated that the parities of the JMP put a condition to the leadership of the GPC that they would not talk about undeclared contacts or dialogues with them.
He pointed out that in case the al-Qaeda elements have renounced violence and abandoned carrying weapons it would be decided at its time.
