Almotamar.net - Reliable local sources in Saada province, north Yemen affirmed Wednesday that military and security units completed Tuesday clearing Al-Qais Mountain from the terrorist elements after destroying hideouts of the terrorist elements and defeated them out of it.

The sources have added that the fighters found quantities of weapons and explosives left behind by those elements, pointing out to destroying a car belonging to the terrorists while trying to evacuate corpses of the killed terrorists and the wounded there.

At the time some military units have destroyed terrorists� hideouts in Bani Maath and Al-And, a military unit set an ambush to the terrorist elements in Bir Ghazi area and inflicted on the terrorists heavy losses.

Army fighters have also shelled weapon and ammunition depots for the terrorists near Al-Mashtal where the sound of explosives in those depots was heard for several hours.

In Sufyan axis, army and security fighters engaged in a battle with groups of terrorist elements that tries advance towards Al-Qamoud position, inflicting on those elements heavy losses. They have also aborted infiltration attempts by terrorists near Al-Tamthala, Qarn al-Damam and Al-Zalaa, inflicting on infiltrators heavy losses and forced them to flee.

Armed forces units in Al-Malahidh axis continued chasing the retreating remnants of terrorist elements and dealt severe hits to their hideouts in Al-Malahidh valley, Afira Mountain and Sir Al-Mouz, inflicting on direct hit on the terrorist elements.

The sources also mentioned that army fighters foiled infiltration attempts in Al-Jaraeb valley and the red height where the terrorist elements sustained heavy losses.
