Almotamar.net - Yemen interior ministry has said Wednesday it began implementing its security measures around oil installations and sea facilities in addition to securing navigation routes for oil tankers and their protection.

The ministry�s leadership has stressed the importance of security readiness at the coastguard authority and security administrations in provinces and to be alert to confront possible terrorist acts by the Qaeda organisation in retaliation of the hard qualitative strikes the security apparatuses have dealt to terrorists hideouts in the provinces of Shabwa and Abyan , Aden, Hadramout Taiz and Hudeida, through doubling the monitoring of the coastal line in order to catch suspected boats that may be use by terrorist elements in carrying out their desperate retaliatory acts.

The leadership of the interior ministry earlier affirmed to the Security Information Centre the continuation of the campaign of chasing the terrorist elements and dealing strong blows to them wherever they were, adding that the war on terror is continuing and would not stop but after eliminating it.

The interior ministry has affirmed that security authorities have carried out bout 40 strikes against the Qaeda elements in the past period , the latest of which the air strike on Monday evening that hit a terrorist cell in Modia district of the province of Abyan.
