Almotamar.net - Advisor to the President of the Republic, the 2nd Vice Chairman of the General People’s Congress (GPC) Abdulqader Bajammal has said, “ The glorious history of Yemen began on 22 May 1990 and will not go back whatever attempted by the intriguers that are motivated by their dishonest interests and money.”

Bajammal added, “We have said it repeatedly that the Yemeni people are the owners of the unity and they will fight for it were necessary and we shall all fight on the side of the people because we are Yemeni citizens.”

Bajammal’s remarks came during a an honouring ceremony given to Mr Bajammal by the People’s Committee for Protection of the Unity that awarded Bajammal the Committee’s Coat of Arms and the honourary membership in its leadership , handed over to Mr Bajammal by the Yemeni Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Abu Bakr al-Qirbi on Monday evening . The award is recognition of Bajammal’s national roles in achieving the unity and its protection and consolidation of its values.

Mr Bajammal expressed his pleasure and pride for the honouring and membership of the Committee’s leadership.
