Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday on the sideline of 22nd Arab Summit in Libya Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir over fields of the mutual cooperation between Yemen and Sudan.

The two leaders also discussed recent development in Yemen and in the international arena of common concern, especially condition in the African horn.

They also discussed coordination of both nations towards agenda of the 22nd summit.

In the meeting, president Saleh highlighted steps taken to achieve peace in Darfur region of Sudan.


On the other hand the President discussed with the King of Jordan Abdullah II means of enhancing cooperation of the two countries and the efforts aimed at enhancing the unity of the Arab rank.

The King of Jordan renewed in the meeting Jordan�s stand by Yemen in its defence of its security and stability

The two leaders expressed their keenness on developing the Yemeni-Jordanian relations in the way serving aspirations of the two peoples and contributing to strengthen Arab cooperation.
