Almotamar.net, Saba - Vice President Abdu Rabo Mansour Hadi affirmed on Sunday that Yemen has a strong determination to pursue the terrorists to their various hideouts.

During a meeting with a delegation of the US Senate and House of Representatives, Hadi noted to the importance of assisting Yemen in the economic, technical and security fields.

Development in Yemen is going ahead according to a studied plan but with a limited economic and productive capacity, he said.

The Vice President hailed the US positive attitudes towards Yemen and its development, security and unity, particularly after the visit of President Ali Abdullah Saleh to Washington in 2001.

Yemen is one of the first countries that have suffered from al-Qaeda terrorist actions, Hadi said, adding that Yemen's losses due to terrorism were so huge.

For its part the US delegation conveyed greetings of the US President Obama and the people to President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his Vice President, the government and the Yemeni people, pointing out the vital and positive cooperation in different areas especially the active partnership in fighting terror and confirmed continuation of cooperation and supporting Yemen in various fields, among them supporting Yemen�s stand and its right to its unity, security and stability.
