Almotamar.net, Saba - The U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton renewed on Friday the U.S. Administration's standing by Yemen through its direct support to Yemen Friends Group.

The U.S. official affirmed during her meeting with the First Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry Mohieddin al-Dhabi her country's support to Yemen in issues relating to the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the areas of political and economic reforms.

She valued Yemen's efforts in combating terrorism and extremism.

Furthermore, during his meeting with Assistant Secretary of State for Political Affairs Anne Marie Slaughter and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near East Affairs Janet Sanderson, al-Dhabi discussed the ways of strengthening the joint cooperation relations between the two friendly countries in the development, economic and security areas.
