almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has met in Taiz on Tuesday leaderships of Lahj province, the local authority, social personalities and military and security commands from districts of Radafan and Lahj province.

In the meeting there was a discussion of the situations in the districts of Radafan at different administrative, development and security levels in addition to acts of destruction committed by some elements violating the law and order, among them acts of highway robbery, stealing public and private property and aggression on citizens, and the role of the local authority and security apparatuses in chasing and arresting those elements and sending them to justice.

The President welcomed the participants in the meeting, congratulating them on the 20th Day of the Yemeni republic and praising the stances of he sons of Radafan and Lahj province in general in the struggle for the revolution and the unity. He pointed out that what some deviant elements of sabotage acts deform the struggle and history of Radafan districts.

President Saleh also affirmed importance of the role that the local authority, the security apparatuses and all the good of the sons of those districts that should be played for confronting those security-wanted elements that offend to the sons of the districts by the crimes they perpetrate.

President Saleh said, �Those criminals cannot bee dealt with leniently and they would be deterred and the hand of the law would deal with them sooner or later, as well as those security-wanted and in cooperation with all the honorable and the good who are concerned with security and stability of the homeland. �He made it clear that all those of having past records, there files are collected and would be chased until they would be captured.

The President pointed out what has been achieved in these districts and the homeland in general of accomplishments and changes under the unity at different levels, saying the development would not be realised but in climates of security and stability and therefore all efforts should join for enhancement of security and stability so that there would be acceleration in efforts of development and realization of all the goals.

You are official in the state and you have a duty in the area and the state would be on your side for the establishment of security and stability and sovereignty of the law and the state would carry out its duty in this regard whatever the price was, the President added.

A number of participants in the meeting have earlier talked and expressed their happiness for meeting with the President and expressed their denunciation and condemnation of all the criminal acts committed by some security-wanted criminal elements. They affirmed that those elements do not represent the sons of Radafan

They affirmed they would be always in confrontation with those elements.
