Almotamar.net, Saba - The Yemeni-Gulf Joint Technical Committee agreed on Monday in Riyadh on a number of mechanisms to gear up implementation process of development projects the Gulf States pledged to implement in Yemen at $3.7 billion during 2007-2010.

The committee discussed the follow up process for these projects and taking reliable procedures to carry them out in accordance with the defined action plans and timetables.

It also addressed future development needs of Yemen which come as an implementation of directives of the GCC on the light of the 4th Five Year Plan 2011-2015.

The committee reviewed proposals presented by the Federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC) over reinforcing relations between representatives of the private sectors in Yemen and the GCC.
