Almotamar.net, Saba - The General Committee of the General People's Congress (GPC) approved on Thursday the future plan of the GPC and the National Coalition parties.

In its meeting, chaired by President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Head of the GPC, the committee also approved mechanisms for implementing the plan, including the formation of the rest of regulatory bodies of the National Coalition parties' Supreme Council.

A number of developments at the national arena were discussed during the meeting, in addition to regulatory issues related to activating the GPC's role during the coming period.

The committee noted to the existing alliance between the GPC and the National Coalition parties on the basis of national constants, confirming its commitment to strengthen this alliance to serve the country.

The committee reiterated its condemnation for all acts of vandalism outside the constitution and law, including acts of banditry on roads, chaos, violence and terrorism and attacks on citizens, facilities and public and private property.

It also expressed its regret at the lack of response by the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) to all calls for dialogue, noting that they always seek to set onerous conditions and lay obstacles to the implementation of the February agreement.

The committee stressed the importance of moving forward in procedures to prepare for the upcoming parliamentary elections and conduct them on time as a constitutional democratic right that should not be waived or bargained.
