Almotamar.net - Yemen�s Information Minister Hassan Ahmed al-Lawzi has on Monday affirmed the import6ance of the agreement signed lately by the General People�s Congress (GPC), the ruling party in Yemen and the opposition Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) concerning implementation of all articles of the GPC-JMP agreement of February 2009.

Al-Lawzi said that undoubtedly this agreement between the political parties and under sponsorship of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, is considered a great victory fore all the Yemenis and for the will of dialogue pursued by the political leadership so that results of the dialogue would be the yardstick and the road to be followed by all efforts for the achievement of common goals.

The Minister pointed out that President Saleh�s stance was obvious with regard to the importance cooperation of both power and opposition in pushing forward the national political movement, under the constitutional legitimacy, for realizing all the goals and objectives relating to continuation of the process of construction and evolvement, development of democracy and achievement of the targeted reforms.
