Almotamar.net - Head o the Information Office at the General People’s Congress (GPC), the ruling party in Yemen Tareq al-Shamy affirmed that the state is very keen on establishment of peace in the province of Saada, north Yemen and on not being dragged into confrontations with the Houthi elements despite the latter was continuing in committing violations.

In a statement to Al-Jazeera Satellite Channel on Thursday night, al-Shamy said we hope there would be commitment to the six points on part of the Houthis elements and abandonment of delay in implementing them, especially ending armed phenomena as well as ending interference in work of the local authority. He added that delay in implementing the six points by the Houthis has led to occurrence of clashes between them and tribesmen.

Al-Shamy assed the state works with self-restraint as it realises that Saada province has suffered much and there must be reconstruction and application of the state prestige and sovereignty of the law to all, indicating to efforts being made by the local authority and security and military commands in Amran province for putting an end of clashes between Houthi elements and tribesmen in Harf Sufyan district.
