Almotamar.net - Assistant Secretary General of the Yemeni General People’s Congress (GPC) ruling party for Information Sector Dr Ahmed Bin Daghr has on Wednesday affirmed the necessity of all the sons of the people standing abreast against the challenges the homeland is facing, including the segment of the youth.

During his meeting on Wednesday with the youth of the national scouts summer camp in Sana’a Dr Bin Daghr said the youth should realize the dangers facing the homeland in different walks of life and that the problems of people impede the process of development in the provinces.

Dr Bin Daghr made it clear that security and stability are the foundation of developmental construction and that effecting the process of development and construction is linked to the homeland’s stability.

Bin Daghr added that the slogans raised chanted by the Houthis and the southern movement for the return of the wheel of history and return of the homeland to before 22 May ( date of Yemeni reunification) are of the obsolete remains of the imamate era and the colonization.

Bin Daghr also talked about the terrorist acts by elements of al-Qaeda organisation in some provinces aimed against the homeland unity and destabilization of its security and stability. He has also warned the youth from the dangers of extremist thought and hard-line religious address and the sowing of the culture of hatred and violence among the youth.
