Almotamar.net - Sources of Yemeni Coast Guard has said Saturday that Eritrean prorates in the past two days intercepted four Yemeni fishing boats carrying 26 Yemeni fishermen while they were in the international waters.

Coast Guard police in the Red Sea sector said the Eritrean pirates had used a Yemeni fishing boat, already seized by them, for the purpose of camouflage.

The pirates seized the Yemeni boats under the threat of guns and forced them to sail for the Eritrean area of Musawaa where they took contents of the four boats and deported five of the Yemeni fishermen on board of a Yemeni boat, the owner of which works in selling qat to Eritreans.

Security Information Centre of Yemen pointed out that the 5 Yemeni sailors arrived Saturday to Midi port while the rest of Yemeni sailors and their four boats are still held with the Eritreans.
