Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh has Monday phoned a number of Arab leaders, congratulating on advent of the fasting month of Ramadan.

President Saleh phoned King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz AL Saud of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the phone conversation, President Saleh congratulated King Abdullah on the advent of the Holy month of Ramadan.

Saleh and Abdullah discussed bilateral cooperation relations and several regional and international issues of common concerns.

In another phone conversation, President Saleh congratulated President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zaid Bin Sultan Al Nhayan on the occasion of Ramadan. The two leaders discussed bilateral relations of the two peoples and countries and cooperation, in addition to regional and international issues of common interest.

The President also congratulated today President Mohammed Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on advent of Ramadan, discussing as well bilateral relations and ways of boosting them in addition of consultation over regional, Arab and international developments.

Meanwhile, President Saleh held phone conversations with Col. Muamar Gaddafi of Libya, Sheikh Subah al-Ahmed al- Jaber al-Subah, Emir of Kuwait, King Abdullah II of Jordan, Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar and President Ismail Omar Guelleh of Djibouti.

During his conversations President Saleh congratulated those leaders on the advent of fasting month of Ramadan. He also discussed them bilateral relations between Yemen and their respective countries and people and means of developing them in addition to Arab, regional and international developments of common interest.
