Akmotamar.net, Saba - In its weekly meeting chaired by Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Mujawar, the Cabinet approved on Tuesday a draft law to organize work of private security companies. The cabinet asked the relevant ministries to finalize the required constitutional measures to issue the law.

The law contains eleven- chapter law aims at offering legal cover for works of such companies in the country.

Meanwhile, the cabinet approved amendments presented by the minister of interior on law No.15/2000 related to the police board by adding further chapter to the law under title of legal protection for policemen.

Moreover, the ministerial council approved recommendations suggested by the second national dialogue on criminal justice in the Yemeni law for period from 27th to 28 June of 2009.


The cabinet also discussed in its weekly meeting a number of vital issues concerning the reality of development in the country.

During the cabinet also discussed some issues pertaining to the financial and administrative reforms as well as issues of combating corruption and the procedures required to reduce its negative impact on citizens and development.

Subsequently, the cabinet approved the formation of ministerial committees from the concerned ministries to study and present proposals to tackle such issues and to submit them to the cabinet for final discussion and approval.
