Almotamar.net - The leading member of al-Qaeda organisation Jumaan Safian has surrendered to security authorities in Yemen.

An official security source has mentioned Saturday that surrendering of Safian, considered as in charge of al-Qaeda organisation in Al-Jawf province, and a number of al-Qaeda organisation elements that surrendered, including the leading al-Qaeda member Hamza Ali Saleh Al-Dhayani who surrendered to local authorities in Mareb on the 6th of last July, were in cooperation with security authorities, social personalities and citizens in the province.

Those also came at a time the security authorities are tightening the grip by their campaigns against al-Qaeda organisation and combating terror.
