Almotamar.net - Official sources revealed Monday about operations of attacks and armed robbery of public properties launched by Houthi rebellion elements in the province of Al-Jawf, east of Yemen, against public services institutions and rendered them into war barracks. The armed elements stormed a public hospital in the district of Kharab Al-Mawashi, stealing its contents and destroying medical equipment and expelled medical staff of the hospital.

Security sources in Al-Jawf said Monday that around 50 Houthi elements attacked the educational complex in Kharab Al-Mawashi district and stationed inside the building.

Security Information Centre at the Interior Ministry reported Monday that citizens exchanged fire with the Houthi elements before the latter managed to control the government complex.

The sources mentioned that Houthi elements tried for three months to storm the government complex in the district and carried out in the same period armed robbery of the government hospital in Kharab Al-Mawashi district. They expelled the hospital�s medical staff and replaced it by Houthi medical elements.

On the other hand, Houthi elements had on 10 of last January attacked the building of medial unit in Al-Zahir district in Al-Jawf province, destroying doors of the building and stole furniture and medicines of that health unit.
