Almotamar.net - Security chief of Abyan province, Yemen general Abdulrazq al-Mrouni has affirmed Sunday the killing of seven terrorists from al-Qaeda in an operation implemented by military and security forces on Sunday against position of those elements in the district of Luder.

Al-Marouni clarified investigation and verification of identities of those terrorist elements were being inducted. He added that besieging was still imposed on remainder of those elements that hid themselves inside some houses.

Security forces, supported by army, are putting pressure on those elements to force them to surrender. The operation is [art of a plan prepared by security and military faces for purging the area from those terrorist elements and ending their criminal and sabotage acts.

Meanwhile, Almotamar.net has learned from security sources that a number of al-Qaeda organisation have begun surrendering following successive collapse among ranks of the organisation as a result of tightening the grip on its elements and the continuous chasing and painful strikes they received in the past period , the latest of which I n Luder area of Abyan.
