Almotamar.net - The committee, merged from the Joint Committee for preparation for the national dialogue, has on Monday held its first meeting chaired by Mr Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi, Vice-President of the Republic, the fist Vice-Chairman of the General People’s Congress (GPC).

The committee’s meting agenda included discussion and approval of the dialogue controls and guarantees of the dialogue presenting list of the organisations and political forces that would be communicated with and invited for taking part in the dialogue.

The committee also discussed completing of release of detainees included in the general pardon decision mentioned in the President of the republic speech on the 20th Yemeni National Day, o that to continue in preparation of convenient climates for the success of the dialogue.

The meeting also discussed the time programme for carrying out items enlisted on the agenda.

In a press release issued by the meeting, Almotamar.net received a copy of it; the meeting mentioned that the discussions among members of the committee were conducted in friendly and sincere atmospheres aimed at reaching positive results of the dialogue serving the higher interests of the homeland.

The meeting has also taken decisions relating to topics on agenda of its meeting and approved holding its next meeting on Thursday 26 August 2010.
