Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh met Tuesday with strugglers of the Yemeni revolutions of 26th of September and 14th of October and heroes of the seventy-day epic.

This came during a Ramadan breakfast held by President Saleh held and was attended by Vice President, Speakers of Parliament and Shura Council, Prime Minister and others.

President Saleh exchanged with them congratulations on the occasion of ends of the Holy Month and oncoming of the Eid al-Fitr.

He spoke to the strugglers of the Yemeni revolution, congratulating them on this great religious occasion.

Saleh saluted the rest of strugglers of the Yemeni revolution for all their efforts and heroics for the sake of the victory of the revolutions of September and October.

He pointed out that the great developments witnessed by the country at different levels, developmentally, culturally, politically, socially and democratically, are by virtue of those precious sacrifices given for the triumph of the revolution.

"The movements or disturbances, which are happening, should not be worrying for you", Saleh told the revolution's strugglers, noting that they have withstood since the revolution outbreak and the great Yemeni people would do so and would face all the challenges.

"There were 45 battlefronts in or before the seventy-day epic, but we now face several other battle fronts. The first one is the battlefront of terrorism with al-Qaeda. The second one is the development that was impeded due to the terrorism, and the third one is those who claim to return to the Imamate that was rejected by Yemeni people through the September 26 and October 14 revolutions", Saleh added.

President Saleh pointed out that the right of governance is in the hands of the people and through the ballot box, saying "We have to respect the constitution and all regulations and laws in force."

He added that the competition and dialogue is good and no democracy without programs.

"We called for the dialogue between all political forces in order to reach common views to move the country towards the beach of safety", President Saleh said.

President Saleh concluded his speech stressing that the strugglers would receive all care and attention from him personally and from all national political leaderships and confirming that their role in defending the revolution, republican regime, unity, freedom and democracy, would never be forgotten.
