Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Monday in his residence in Paris with President and Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Nexen Company, Marvin Romanow.
In the meeting, they discussed the company's activities in Yemen and the new oil blocks that the company wants to invest in, as well as the cooperation relations between Yemen and the company.
President Saleh welcomed the new investments of the company and the Canadian investments in general, pointing out that they would receive all facilities and support so as to achieve the common interests of the two sides.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Oil and Minerals Amir al-Aydarus, Secretary General of Presidency Abdullah al-Bashiri, and the Executive Director of Canadian Nexen in Yemen Ali al-Sahiqi.
President Saleh arrived on Sunday in Paris in a state visit to France in response to an invitation by the French President Nicolas Sarkozy.
