Almotamar.net, Saba - President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday at his residence in France's capital Paris French Interior Minister Brice Hortefeux.

The meeting focused on aspects of the bilateral cooperation between the two countries on fighting terrorism and exchanging security information.

Hortfuex praised the Yemeni efforts in combating terror, affirming his country's support for the efforts.

He also expressed his country's readiness to strengthen cooperation with Yemen, particularly in areas such as training and information sharing in the best interest of both countries.

On the other hand the President held a meeting in Paris today with a number of the Yemeni community leaderships.

During the meeting the President got acquainted with their conditions in various areas, praising the role of the Yemeni community and its contributions to serving the homeland and its higher interest. He has also valued their patriotic feeling through interaction with issues of their homeland.

Meanwhile, the President gave his directives to the Yemeni embassy in Paris on offering all care and help to the Yemeni community in the way facilitating their matters.

For their part the leaderships and members of the Yemeni community expressed their happiness for what they felt of keenness of the Yemeni political leadership represented by the President Ali Abdullah Saleh on inspecting their conditions, affirming they would always be the loyal soldiers of the homeland best ambassadors of it abroad and to exert all their efforts for reflecting the brilliant image of the homeland and its sons.
