Almotamar.net - The member of the Kuwaiti parliament Jassim al-Kandary has told Almotamar.net that Yemen’s strategic location on both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea besides its enchanting nature makes it the attraction of investors and it heralds future of investment projects in it.
He has expressed his pleasure for the intention of the Kuwaiti Al-Kandary Group to build its investment project of the Tourist Village Kunuz Ibb as a first Kuwaiti company in Yemen.
Al-Kandary expected the Group to begin work in the project during the next six months and for three years after it has recently received the site allocated for the project that would be built on an area of 560 thousand square meters.
He has clarified that the project is to cost $100 million and would include the building of 300 beach cabins , a 5-star 180 rooms hotel , a 320-flat residential unit , 320 villas , health centre, three parks of children playground , electronic garden , a landing area for helicopters and a swimming pool.
He said the village would provide about 1000 job opportunities for the youth, expressing his optimism that in the next period Yemen will witness the building of similar projects by Kuwaiti investors after the gig success that it realised in hosting Gulf 20 which portrayed the true image of the situations in Yemen.
