Almotamar.net, Saba - An official security source has denounced an unfortunate assault on a member of the parliament Sultan Hizam al-Atwani.

Al-Atwani is also the Secretary-General of the Organization of Popular Unionist Nazareth.

The source confirmed that the security services have initiated investigations to identify the perpetrators and detain them and bring them to justice for punishment.

The sources called for cooperation with the security agencies to provide any information that may
help know the perpetrators.

Al-Atwani was attacked Wednesday by armed men in Sana�a.
