Almotamar.net - The annual report of the World Bank (WB) , Almotamar.net obtained a copy of it, revealed that the WB offered Yemen $ 205 million in financing from the International Association for Development (IDA) of the WB in the fiscal year 2010.
The report also mentioned that financing of the WB included additional financing amounting to $60 million to the project of the Social Fund for Development which realised a big success. Other investment processes in Yemen have also focused on increasing possibility of the countryside inhabitants to reach markets and getting services with a sum of $40 million, supporting development of port cities $35 million, fighting bilharzias with $25 million, enhancement of getting services in urban areas with $22 million, the institutional help to Social Care Fund with $10 million and improvement of higher education with $13 million.
The Chief of experts of the Public Sector Administration at the WB Aaron Aria and the executive manager of modernization of public finance project Fuad Ali al-Kuhlani reviewed Sunday the project of modernization of the public finance, funded by the WB at a cost of $12 million.
