Almotamar.net - The Vice President of the republic (VP) Abid Rabu Mansour Hadi opened Monday new specialised health projects, departments and centres in the Republican Hospital in the capital Sana’a. The projects and departments included various specialized medical facilities for giving medical services and treatment of different diseases.

The cost of those medical centres amounted to one billion and one million Yemeni riyals funded by the investment programme of the capital Mayoralty.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Member of Parliament Abdulrahman al-Akwaa and the Chinese deputy health minister. Yemeni health undersecretary Dr Ghazi Ismael delivered a speech , welcoming the Chinese official and his accompanying delegation and pointed out to Yemeni-Chinese old health relations as the Chinese and Yemeni doctors joined forces in offering health services to the citizens for more than four decades . Dr Ismael expressed appreciation and thanks for the support and assistance offered by the Chinese government.

The VP and the Chinese health official sponsored ceremonies of signing delivering the medical equipment and medical supplies offered by the Chinese government to the Yemeni health minister.
