Almotamar.net - The US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein and his accompanying delegation from the US State Department met a number of Yemeni and Arab American political activists and media men in Wayne State University in the State of Michigan and tens of university students.

Almotamar.net correspondent in the United States Munir al-Tharhani mentioned from inside the campus said the meeting of the ambassador to Yemen with leaderships of Yemeni community was more than positive and aimed at the homeland interest and the Yemeni-American relations.

During the meeting the American diplomat affirmed interest of the American government in Yemen�s and the region security and its support for Yemen in combating terror and poverty and the backing up of Yemen government efforts in various issues that would realise security and stability in Yemen and the region.

The US ambassador also responded to a number of questions put forward by Yemeni and Arab American journalists and politicians.
