Almotamar.net - The Specialised Penal Court in the province of Hadramout Yemen, in its sitting Saturday under chairmanship of Judge Abdeh al-Awadhi and presence of head of the prosecution in the province, ruled the imprisonment of four al-Qaeda persons to 5 to 5 years.
The verdict stipulated the imprisonment of the first and the second defendants Faris Abdul Aziz al-Kathiri for five years each , four years in jail to the fourth defendant Hani Sam bin Uraiqun and three years sentence to t the third defendant Bassam Hassan Salman .
The verdict also stipulated obliging the defendants, after serving their term in jail, to write pledges of not violating the security and commitment to good conduct.
The indictment, in the first sitting of prosecution, was that the defendants had taken part in an armed operation to carry out criminal acts and a collective criminal plot. they had prepared for that purpose all necessary tools of funds, communication means , computers , watches , camera , video camera , means of transport , training on using weapons and obtaining passports so that to join al-Qaeda organisation in Afghanistan and Iraq and Somalia . They had also distributed the roles, held meetings and hiding security-wanted persons.
