Almotamar.net - Under chairmanship of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, Chairman of the General People’s Congress (GPC), the ruling party in Yemen, the GPC’s Main Permanent Committee is scheduled to hold an ordinary session in Sana’a in the next days.

Member of Parliament , member of the General Committee , the head of the organisation office at the party Ahmed al-Zuhairi has said that the session would consider many of the issues relating to the national affair in the light of the accelerating developments in the national arena and the efforts exerted by the GPC for enhancing the process of the national dialogue, in addition to discussion of the GPC performance by its different bodies and sectors within a comprehensive report to be presented by the GPC’s Secretary General to the meeting.

Al-Mithaq weekly newspaper has quoted in its issue Monday al-Zuhairi his saying that the session convening acquires a special importance at this stage which requires doubling more efforts by the GPC with the aim of keeping the homeland away from falling into sedition and exposing to danger its achievements in unity, democracy and development.
