Almotamar.net - A number of army officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers have decided to leave service in the 1st armoured division and go over to the Defence Ministry to join their brothers in arms of members of the armed forces and the security.

The officers and non-commissioned officers and soldiers confirmed hat this decision came of their feeling of graveness of what their command has done in violating the constitutional legitimacy and sided with the Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) with the aim of arousing chaos, sabotage and tearing apart the homeland and its unity and destruction of all achievements for the Yemeni people by virtue of the 26 September and 14 October revolution and the people�s unity. They have also confirmed they are not with the calls working for dividing the ranks of the armed forces and the security. they expressed their full conviction in this step they have taken in joining their brothers in the armed forces for staving off the attempts working for destabilization of security and stability of the homeland , affirming they would be loyal to the homeland and its unity , its democratic approach and national constants.

They renewed their pledge and loyalty to the homeland, the people and the political leadership represented by President Ali Abdullah saleh, the commander in /chief of the armed forces.

According to Saba news agency the returnee soldiers have urged their colleagues in the units that sided with parties of the JMP to return to reason and come back to the national rank.
