Almotamar Net - Sana’a- The United States of America has retreated Wednesday its supporting stand for Yemen’s unity, security and stability and its democratic approach.  That came in person of the US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein during his meeting in Sana’a today with the Assistant Secretary General of the General People’s Congress (GPC) Sultan al-Barakani.

Almotamar.net - Sana’a- The United States of America has retreated Wednesday its supporting stand for Yemen’s unity, security and stability and its democratic approach. That came in person of the US ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein during his meeting in Sana’a today with the Assistant Secretary General of the General People’s Congress (GPC) Sultan al-Barakani.

The meeting reviewed relations of bilateral cooperation between the two countries and means of enhancing them. In addition , the two men also discussed developments of the current political crisis in the Yemeni arena and the ways guaranteeing coming out of it in the way serving interests of Yemen and its people and preserving its security, unity and stability.

The US ambassador has stressed the necessity of solving the crisis in peaceful methods and in the way that keeps Yemen’s security, unity and its democratic achievements, emphasizing his country’s keenness on Yemen’s unity, security, stability and its democratic pursuit.

He has also drawn the attention to that the economic challenges facing Yemen are no less important than the existing political challenges.

Saba news agency has quoted the US ambassador his mentioning that the United States of America hopes finding quick solutions to the political crisis in the manner making it able to work with the all international friends to assist Yemen to face the present challenges in the economic aspect fully.

The US ambassador Feierstein highlighted the importance that the GPC undertakes a big and effective role in the present and in the future.

The United States has earlier confirmed that the current political impasse in Yemen would be solved only when all the parties get engaged in the process of peaceful negotiation and serious dialogue.

The US Assistant Foreign Secretary for Public Affairs has called on all the parties for the necessity of taking part in a public and transparent dialogue to address the crisis and to discuss the legitimate woes of the entire people of Yemen and find organized course towards a country responding more to the political and economic aspirations of the people of Yemen and said that they think this approach is the best for serving interests of the Yemeni people.
