Almotamar.net - Sana’a- Yemen’s Vice President Abed Rabou Mansour Hadi received Saturday the United States of America ambassador to Yemen Gerald Feierstein and discussed with him developments in the Yemeni national arena on different sides and relations related to cooperation between the two countries especially in areas of combating terror.
In the meeting the Vice President talked on the nature of his meetings with the Yemeni opposition and the steps which are being discussed for securing oil and gas supplies, not attacking electric power lines and consultations aimed at avoiding Yemen of more of the aggravating crises.
Hadi has expressed his regret for the some linking the question of providing essential services and food and goods supplies to the political crisis, describing that as collective punishment to interests and life of the society.
He has also called on all political powers, parties and civil society organisations, sheikhs and social personalities to resort to conscience and reason for coming out of the current crisis.
The Vice President has also received the French ambassador to Yemen Joseph Silva with whom he discussed the two countries’ relations and ways of cementing them, in addition to France’s positive role within the European Union. The meeting also dealt with developments at various political, security and economic levels.
The French ambassador has expressed appreciation of his country of the efforts exerted by Vice President Hadi for implementation of the points of ceasefire, opening roads and keeping gunmen away from cities and all that keeping Yemen away from slipping into abysses.
The French ambassador has affirmed his country’s readiness for cooperation in all that is demanded from it in the frame of the close relations linking the two friendly countries.
