Almotamar.net - President Ali Abdullah Saleh, in an address aired by the Yemen TV on Thursday from the hospital where he is receiving medical treatment in Riyadh, hailed the people of Yemen inside and outside on their steadfastness in the face of challenges and confronting challenges.

In his first appearance since the terrorist attack that targeted him and the senior officials in the state in Al-Nahdain Mosque on 3 of last June, President Saleh said,� Our great Yemeni people are steadfast and will remain steadfast challenging all kinds of challenges that target the security and stability and target the freedom and democracy. Many have understood democracy wrongly, such as blocking roads, prevention of provision of fuels and destabilization of the security state.�

President Saleh has welcomed national partnership with the political; forces in the frame of the constitution, stressing the necessity of dialogue and said, �We are with the partnership, whether it were opposition of ruling but in the light of a programme the people agree on and to be a common denomination, not everyone dictates his visions and we are not in need of everyone twisting the arm of the other, for this is a wrong and ignorant concept.

President Saleh expressed his thanking and appreciation for the King of Saudi Arabia and his Crown Prince and leadership of the kingdom for the complete care rendered by them since he arrived in the kingdom and said that is not something strange for the kingdom.

The President said he has undergone more than 8 surgical operations and said a number of surgical operations were made for the officials: the Speaker of the parliament, chairman of the shiura council, the Prime Minister and his two deputies Sadeq Abu Ras and Rashad al-Alimi, the governor of Sana�a and more than 87 persons.

President Saleh has expressed thanking and appreciation for the national military and security establishment that stood by the constitutional legitimacy and with it the honorable of the sons of the people.

The President has also thanked and appreciated efforts of the Vice President for healing the rift between different political forces.
