Almotamar.En - Sana'a-Former President , leader of General People's Congress(GPC) . Ali Abdullah Saleh is awarded on Monday the ''Peace Shield 2012'' by National Organization of fighting againest violence and terrorism ''Kefah''.
In ceremony held in home of GPC's Leader and attended by number of officials and social figures in Yemen , Mr Abdullmalek Assar , Secretory-General of the Organization said that the former president Ali Abdullah Saleh won an overwhelming majority of votes in poll conducted by the organization for '' Peace Shield for year 2012 ''.
Assar added that the Yemeni Former President Saleh could use his great experience during the crisis in last year and save Yemen from slipping in civil war by giving a lot of concessions although he is the constitutional president taking in his consideration that Yemen over all personal interest and to save Yemen blood .security stability and national unity of the Yemeni society
