almotamar.net - Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdul-Latif Al-Zayani has commended the Yemeni Council of Ministers decision to offer an apology to Yemeni citizens who were affected by the 1994 and Sa’ada Wars.

Al-Zayani said the apology represented an important step in the path to achieving inclusion, national reconciliation, and national unity. He added that the new development opened a new page in Yemen’s progress towards the achievement of national objectives.

The GCC Secretary General called on all Yemeni political forces and factions to support the National Reconciliation Government in its efforts.
