almotamar.net - Secretaries’ assistants of the General People's Congress (GPC), members of the General Committee and the National Alliance party leaders met the ambassadors of the permanent members in the Security Council and the European Union ambassador in Yemen at the headquarters the GPC.
In the meeting, they discussed the latest political developments in Yemen, particularly those related to the political settlement and comprehensive national dialogue conference (NDC).
The GPC expressed their adherence to implementing the Gulf initiative and its chronic mechanism and the success of the NDC to maintain Yemen unity, security and stability.
For their part, ambassadors confirm the need for the commitment of all political parties to the success of the NDC and complete the implementation of the political settlement process as soon as possible. Ambassadors praised the GPC’s participation in the success of the political settlement, asserting that the GPC is an important party for it has experience in the state management and is able to provide visions and solutions for the future of Yemen
