Sa'ada governor Fares Manna reviewed here on Saturday with World Food Programme (WFP) representative in Yemen Bishaw Parajuli the WFP activities in the province and coordination level with the local authority.

During the meeting, the governor welcomed the WFP representative and the return of its activities in Sa'ada, stressing the province's urgent need to more humanitarian aid.

Manna accentuated that the leadership and the local authority of the province would do every effort to facilitate WFP's activities and overcome all the difficulties hindering its works.

The WFP official said that the Programme works to combat hunger and food insecurity and provides services throughout the world in general and Yemen in particular, including the Sa'ada province, which has suffered greatly because of conflicts.
