almotamar.net - The small group emanating from the Working Group on the South issue in the National Dialogue Conference (NDC) resumed on Friday evening its meetings devoted to finding solutions and guarantees to the South issue.

The attendees continued their discussions on the form of federal state ,and discussed in this context the issue of powers distribution between the federal governance levels (the center ,province and state) and between the different sectors.

In the presence of Assistant Secretary-General of the United Nations and his Special Adviser on Yemen ,Jamal Benomar, and Secretary General of the NDC, Dr. Ahmed Awad bin Mubarak, the group also dealt with the latest developments witnessed by the southern provinces.

The attendees approved the legitimacy of the demands upon which the recent moves were founded ,but they have expressed regret for the exit of the things from the peaceful nature in some places, and called on all to calm and restraint and give priority to reason and wisdom and commitment to the peaceful expression of any legitimate demands.
