almotamar.net - President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi met here on Monday with Veeravalli Sundaram Sampath chief of election commissioner of India (ECI).

During the meeting, Sampath briefed the President on the great potentials India has in the electoral field and the contributions India may provide to Yemen in the electoral technical areas

He stressed India's readiness to provide all possible facilities and experience to benefit from the Indian technologies in this regard, adding that the memorandum of understanding signed with the Yemen's Supreme Commission for Elections and Referendum (SCER) would yield good results in the exchange of technology and expertise between the two countries.

The President also listened from SCER's heard Judge Mohammed al-Hakimi to the plans prepared take advantage of the Indian electoral experience, and accentuated the importance of availing from all the available expertise and experience to realize the integrity and fairness of the election process
