almotamar.net - Russian ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Petrovich paid on Monday a visit to "al-Ordhi Hospital" of the Defense Ministry compound, where a terrorist attack taken place early this month.
Petrovich made a tour in the hospital wards and was briefed by the hospital's director Hisham al-Zubairi on the damages and losses the hospital sustained due to the attack.
On December 5th, an armed group of 12 terrorists, mostly Saudi nationals, attacked the Hospital, claiming the lives of 56 of civilians, medical staff and military personnel and injured over 215 others. The victims included two German doctors, two Vietnamese doctors, two Filipino nurses and an Indian nurse.
The Russian ambassador also listened to accounts from the hospital's director and staff of what they have seen and experienced during the attack.
Petrovich underlined the Russian firm and permanent support for the security, stability and unity of Yemen.
