almotamar.net - A delegation of the parliament Friday headed to Kuwait to participate in the 20th conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), set to be held between January 19 and 20 in Kuwait.

In a statement to Saba, the head of the delegation deputy speaker Mohammed Ali al-Shaddadi said that the conference will discuss Israel�s policies in the occupied Arab territories and its settlement and occupation procedures to change the features of Jerusalem city and obliterate its Arab and Islamic identity.

"The conference will focus on attempts pursued by the occupation authorities to empty Jerusalem of its Arab population�, al-Shaddadi said.
