almotamar.net - Foreign Ministry on Saturday condemned the terrorist and criminal attack that claimed the life of an Iranian diplomat in Sana'a.

The Iranian diplomat was killed in a drive-by shooting by unknown assailants in the capital Sana'a.

"This operation targeted Yemeni-Iranian relations more than the diplomat," Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi said, stressing that the security services would track down the perpetrators until being arrested and brought to justice.

Al-Qirbi said that the two countries are keen to prevent any attempt to harm the mutual relationship between them, expressing the Yemeni government's profound condolences to the Iranian government and people and the diplomat's family.
