French Foreign Ministry spokesman Romain Nadal urged on Thursday all Yemeni parties to avoid violence and reach national reconciliation.

He extended condolences to the family of Sharafeddin, calling the Yemeni authorities to uncover the circumstances of the crime.

Nadal further renewed France�s support to Yemen�s political transition, stressing that it is the only exist to hold democratic elections, maintain Yemen�s unity and pave the way for development and prosperity.
